Alexander Rabkin, DMD

General Dentist
A proud Newton native, Dr. Alexander Rabkin combines expertise with compassion to deliver exceptional dental care. He earned his Bachelor of Science in neuroscience, graduating magna cum laude from the Honors Program at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. His passion for understanding the science behind health and wellness led him to pursue a doctor of dental medicine (DMD) degree at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. To further refine his skills, Dr. Rabkin completed a General Practice Residency (GPR) at Hartford Hospital, gaining advanced training in comprehensive dental care.
 
Now practicing in the Boston area, Dr. Rabkin is dedicated to creating a welcoming and supportive environment for every patient. Known for his calm and compassionate demeanor, he takes the time to listen to his patients’ concerns, educate them on their treatment options, and empower them to make informed decisions about their oral health. His approach emphasizes collaboration, ensuring that each patient feels confident in achieving their healthiest, most beautiful smile.

Matthew Epstein, DDS

General Dentist

Dr. Matthew Epstein graduated from New York University College of Dentistry earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery with an honors in periodontics. Following dental school, his advanced training was completed in the General Practice Residency Program at Montefiore Medical Center in New York where he treated medically complex patients in a hospital-based setting with a focus in periodontics and oral surgery.

Dr. Epstein performs a wide range of procedures all aimed at improving oral health and facial esthetics. His clinical focus is periodontal and oral surgery, with an emphasis on providing a painless dental experience in a stress-free environment. He is certified in nitrous oxide anesthesia and takes extensive continuing education to keep up to date with the latest techniques in periodontics.

Dr. Epstein was born and raised in Newton and is a graduate of Newton North High School. He received his Bachelor of Arts in economics with a concentration in Pre-medical Sciences from Tufts University.

Dr. Epstein is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Society, the Metropolitan District Dental Society, and the American Academy of General Dentistry. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Epstein enjoys playing basketball, skiing, sailing, cooking, and traveling with his wife and two young boys.

Sarah Taylor, DMD

General Dentist

With over a decade of experience in general and family dentistry, Dr. Sarah Taylor is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care. Her warm and caring nature, combined with her commitment to excellence, makes her a trusted provider for patients of all ages.

Dr. Taylor earned her undergraduate degree from Clemson University before pursuing her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) at the Medical University of South Carolina. She then completed an advanced graduate residency at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, where she gained extensive experience managing complex dental cases. Committed to staying at the forefront of dentistry, she actively participates in continuing education, regularly attending workshops, study groups, and seminars on the latest advancements in implants, periodontics, digital scanning, Invisalign, and oral pathology. She is also a proud member of the American Dental Association and the Massachusetts Dental Society.

Throughout her career, Dr. Taylor has practiced in various offices from New York to Boston, following her husband Ben’s career in academia. Her pursuit of an honest and ethical approach to patient care led her to join Dr. Rabkin and his team, where she is eager to help elevate the patient experience. She believes that her passion for dentistry and her gentle, compassionate demeanor are what keep patients coming back.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Taylor enjoys spending time with her two daughters and their beloved Labrador, Hank. She loves the outdoors and can often be found hiking, canoeing, or relaxing in a hammock with a good book.

With an impressive career spanning nearly five decades, Anne Marie brings unparalleled experience and warmth to her role as Front Desk Manager. A Boston native and proud valedictorian of the B.U. School of Graduate Dentistry, Anne Marie also graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in education from Boston State College. Over the years, she has continued her professional development by attending courses at the Yankee Dental Convention, demonstrating her commitment to staying informed about advancements in dental care. Her passion lies in helping Dr. Rabkin deliver state-of-the-art dental services, a shared enthusiasm that she describes as “contagious”.
 
Anne Marie’s favorite part of her role is welcoming patients with genuine friendliness, ensuring each feels like a member of the family. Her warm demeanor and dedication to providing exceptional patient care have made her an invaluable member of the practice. She takes pride in fostering a comforting and supportive environment, reflecting her personal motto of practicing the Golden Rule. Whether it’s her thoughtful approach to patient interactions or her joy in being a reliable presence at the front desk, Anne Marie’s impact on the practice is immeasurable.
 
Outside of work, Anne Marie treasures her time with family, especially her twin sister, who is also her best friend. She adores being an Auntie and enjoys walks with friends, especially the four-legged variety. A former cantor and choir member at her church, she finds joy in music and inspiration in the classic film The Sound of Music. Anne Marie’s hidden talent lies in her dream to swaddle newborns in neonatal intensive care, showcasing her nurturing nature. Whether reading, piano, or listening to podcasts, she enriches every aspect of her life with the same care and kindness she brings to her role at the practice.

Victoria

Lead Dental Assistant
Victoria has dedicated 15 years to her role as a skilled dental assistant, a career that reflects her passion for helping patients achieve their perfect smiles. A graduate of the Westchester School for Dental Assistants in New York, she has expanded her expertise through continuing education courses in digital scanning, in-office milling, and cosmetic enhancements like Botox and Juvederm. Her enthusiasm for dentistry stems from her love of creating confident smiles and making patients feel comfortable during their visits.
 
Originally from Saint Petersburg, Russia, Victoria thrives in her current practice, where she enjoys working alongside a professional and supportive team. She values the opportunity to face new challenges daily and credits the inspiring leadership of her boss as a key factor in her motivation. With her easy-going and highly organized nature, Victoria creates a welcoming atmosphere for both patients and colleagues, ensuring every visit is a positive experience.
 
Outside of the office, Victoria stays active with pilates and loves exploring new restaurants or unwinding with a Netflix series. A devoted mother, she is proud of her son, David, who is studying pharmacy at Buffalo University in New York. She also dotes on her two exotic cats, whose quirky antics add joy to her daily life. A lover of cooking and fashion, Victoria dreams of traveling to the Maldives and Japan. Her favorite moments include attending Broadway productions like The Parisian Woman and A Doll’s House, while her favorite films, such as Eat Pray Love and Vicky Cristina Barcelona, inspire her with their rich storytelling.

A graduate of UMass Amherst with a Bachelor of Science in 2008, Laura furthered her education at MCPHS University, earning a bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene in 2013. Her passion for dentistry stems from her love of connecting with patients and creating a comfortable, welcoming environment during their visits.
 
Born and raised in Walpole, MA, Laura thrives in her role, finding joy in the sense of community and collaboration at her practice. She values the opportunity to provide exceptional care while working alongside a team that shares her dedication to patient well-being. Laura’s approachable demeanor and commitment to fostering trust make her an integral part of her practice.
 
Outside the office, Laura enjoys spending quality time with her family, exploring new destinations on vacation, and relaxing on boating trips. She shares her home with her beloved Bernadoodle, Smokey, whose playful personality is a constant source of joy. Laurie has been a dedicated dental hygienist since graduating from the Community College of Rhode Island’s Dental Hygiene Program in 1996. She joined the practice in 2010 and has become a vital part of the team, helping patients achieve better oral health. Laurie’s favorite aspect of her career is the lasting relationships she has built with patients over the years, providing personalized care with warmth and expertise.
 
When she’s not at work, Laurie finds joy in nature, particularly during springtime when she eagerly tracks the migration of hummingbirds to her area. Preparing her backyard for their arrival has become an annual tradition that reflects her love of the outdoors. She also enjoys hiking with her dog, embracing the serenity and adventure of the trails.
 
Family plays a central role in Laurie’s life, and she cherishes the time spent with her three grandchildren who live in Florida. Whether cooking a meal to share or connecting with loved ones, Laurie’s enthusiasm for life and her genuine care for others shine in everything she does.
